Please take a few moments to visit other web sites within the industry that are designed to provide further assistance to our institutions and the students and parents they assist in educating.

Welcome to the Pennsylvania Education Lenders Association website. Our website committee works diligently to make our site user-friendly and innovative. We're excited to receive your feedback. Please let us know if there is something you would like to see on our website.

The PELA organization is made up of Lenders, Servicers, Guarantors, Schools which function as Lenders, and Secondary Markets. We've joined together to serve the needs and concerns of Pennsylvania Schools and to work towards resolving your issues. We also strive to provide a forum for information and counseling tools on the different types of loan programs available to pay for post-secondary education. Your students and their parents can benefit from this information you can share with them. Let us grow together!

Best Wishes,

John McKenna, PELA President

TAKE CHARGE - FIGHTING BACK
AGAINST IDENTITY THEFT

In the course of a busy day, you may
write a check at the grocery store, charge tickets to a ball game, rent a car, mail your tax returns, change service providers
for your cell phone, or apply for a credit
card. Chances are you don't give these everyday transactions a second thought.
But an identity thief does. Visit the
FTC web site to learn more about how to prevent identity theft from happening to
you and your students.

Additionally, please download
PELA's Identity Theft Presentation from a recent PASFAA Spring Training event, as
we invite you to learn more about identity theft.
